Who says that childhood friends cannot become forever lovers? Lauren and Tyler are living proof that it’s possible, and they just celebrated their wedding at the Cranston Country Club.
This wedding was filled with exciting moments. During the ceremony, I learned that Lauren and Tyler spent most of their summers and holidays together as kids because their fathers were best friends (you have to scroll down to see the sweet photos I got of them!) Lauren’s dad was Tyler’s dad best man at his wedding, so naturally, their families spent a lot of time together. As life has it, they grew up and went separate ways, but thanks to social media they reconnected 8 years ago and the rest is history!
One of my favorite touches in this wedding was the nature theme – from the half log place cards to the beautiful triangular altar that Lauren’s brother Kevin build for them, Lauren and Tyler’s love for nature showed all throughout. They are currently on a road trip adventure to the smokey mountains with their puppy Ellie!
Now, let me tell you about the bridal party… they were a feast of love and laughter! Kayla, the Maid of Honor, and Lauren have been friends for 21 years, and the emotional speech included awesome stories about fashion statements, boomboxes, and middle school tales.
Dan, the Best Man, had us all cracking up during his speech with all the funny stories he had to share about their friendship but then his closing remarks about the kind of love that Tyler and Lauren have – the kind of love everyone deserves, got us all awwing. Their bridal party – 11 in total – was a delight to work with and the kind of party I love 🙂
Big shout out to the Cranston Country Club wedding team! What an incredible staff! I felt spoiled by them with all their attention. They really know how to love and serve their guests (and other vendors!), and they surely made Lauren and Tyler’s wedding extra special. Oh, and the food was absolutely top-notch!
Lauren and Tyler: I loved being part of your special day. You and your entire family and friends were so kind to me, and I will never forget it. Thank you for your trust and for letting me capture the special love you two share. Love you both!
