If you're anything like Ally (who I had never met before our session), you feel very intimidated about getting your pictures taken. The thought of "posing" makes you nervous and thinking of getting new portraits is just not appealing.
And if you're anything like my teenage daughter, you probably think no angle is flattering enough, or that whatever you do it just feels "awkward" or "forced" (and I proved her wrong, too!)
So what makes me different? The difference is that my sessions are fun, fast-paced, and a unique photography experience that everyone enjoys! My clients rave about their experience with me, because my approach to photography is similar to my approach to life: it's all about how much fun you can get out of it!

Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward the first five minutes, but as the session goes on and I coach you from beginning to end, you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. I will make you feel confident and I promise you'll love your photos!

Hair and makeup is not included in the senior photography package, but I highly, highly recommend it. Even if you are someone that is not used to wearing make-up, a professional artist will make sure that you look natural, beautiful and comfortable. Professional makeup and hair photograph beautifully and elevates your images even more!
I can definitely recommend hair + makeup artist that can match your style and budget. Just ask me!

The sooner the better! My weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, you'll go through an easy self-paced booking process. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!

How far in advance should i book?

Yay! I am so excited to start planning your session with you! In order to make things official and reserve your date with me, contact me so we can get the planning going! Only a small creative fee is required to secure your spot!

As part of your Senior Experience, you will receive my exclusive Senior Style Guide. This guide will give you ideas of styles that will match your personality. You can also text me or email me pictures of your options before your shooting day, and I will give you my opinion! I always recommend to bring any and all outfit choices you want! Then the day of your shoot, we will meet on-location and I will assist you in effortlessly styling each outfit, give you suggestions and picking out the best options!

What should I wear?

After you book your session, you will receive a questionnaire from me so I can learn more about you and your vision for your senior portrait experience.
From there, I will work to find custom senior locations for your session. It can be the city, the beach, a park, or even at your own home! We will lock in 2-3 locations and meet on-location at the first destination to begin your senior experience!
