There’s something truly magical about places that hold a special place in your heart, and for Laura and Mark, Beavertail State Park in Jamestown is one of those places. Their engagement session at this picturesque spot is a testament to their love story, a beautiful blend of past memories and future dreams.
Laura and Mark’s journey began in 2017 at the now-closed Red Stone Grill in North Attleboro. A serendipitous night out led Laura to meet Mark through a friend who was there to see her boyfriend’s band. It was love at first sight for Laura. Thanks to a little matchmaking, Laura and Mark’s connection deepened, and they officially started dating in April 2018.
As their relationship blossomed, Laura met Mark’s kids, Olivia and Ben, who were just 3 and 5 at the time. Laura’s heart melted as she fell in love with them instantly, and their growing bond became an integral part of their family’s story.
Choosing Beavertail State Park for their engagement session was a nod to the special memories Mark and Laura have shared. Mark’s history with the park goes way back, as he grew up exploring its scenic beauty. When their relationship was still new, Mark took Laura to Beavertail after a day of exploring Newport. It was during these early days that Laura fell in love with not just Mark, but also with the park’s rugged coastline and sweeping views.
Beavertail State Park has since become a cherished spot for the family. They’ve spent countless days there, flying kites with Olivia and Ben, and creating cherished memories, especially during the quieter days of the COVID-19 pandemic. These moments of joy and togetherness at the park have cemented its place as a symbol of their journey together.
The engagement session at Beavertail was more than just a photo shoot; it was a celebration of their shared history and future. Against the backdrop of the park’s stunning landscapes, Laura and Mark’s love story unfolded beautifully. The rocky shores, rolling waves, and breathtaking views served as the perfect canvas for capturing their love and the family’s dynamic.
As they look ahead to their wedding next June at The Barn at Blackstone National in Sutton, MA, the excitement is palpable. With friends and family gathered to celebrate their union, Laura and Mark are eager to begin this new chapter of their lives. Their engagement session at Beavertail State Park was not just about capturing the present but also about reflecting on their journey and the beautiful future they’re about to embark on together.
Laura and Mark’s story is a testament to the power of serendipity, the joy of shared experiences, and the beauty of love that grows stronger with each passing day. Their engagement session was a perfect blend of their past, present, and future, set against the backdrop of a place that holds a special place in their hearts.
Here’s to Laura and Mark, and to many more years of love, laughter, and beautiful memories at Beavertail State Park and beyond!
