First look by the silos? Yup. Beer toasts? Yes, please. Ivy wall for portraits? Of course! Tara & Bryan’s wedding at The Guild Brewery had all that and more!
So many “firsts” for me: first time ever I shoot a first look where beer is made, first time I photograph a “groomspup”, and the most special part for me: first time a couple include me and my team in their wedding favors (custom glasses), and first time I see a sign with my name on it (which I may steal) 🙂
Let me tell you about how incredibly special Tara and Bryan’s wedding was. Tara’s tears of joy were so contagious – from the moment she saw herself in the mirror wearing her gorgeous wedding dress, to reciting her private vows to Bryan and listening to Bryan’s vows, to hearing her godfather tell the story of when he asked her what she was looking for in a partner (before she met Bryan) and her saying she was hoping to find a man as good as her father, everyone that was around them could not hold the tears back.
Tara found that special love she patiently waited for in Bryan. They decided to read their vows in private, and I just stood away capturing the moment for them. I could not hear but what I saw – what I captured – speaks volumes of the love and commitment they have for each other.
Tara and Bryan put their special touches in every corner of The Guild Brewing Company to host their wedding day with their closest friends and family – including a cousin that was heading to the airport to fly back home to Texas 20 minutes after their ceremony!
Their love for music was present everywhere, from the custom “vinyls” directing the guests to their seats, to the brilliant idea of having an “audio guest book” which they will make into an actual vinyl record to enjoy for years to come.
I wrote about Tara and Bryan’s love story in this post, and the fact that their engagement session and wedding were both at breweries leaves no doubt about their love for beer 🙂 Their rustic-chic, brewery theme wedding delighted everyone, and the food catered by Tailgate Gourmet Catering was the perfect match for their perfect day.
Tara, Bryan and their families were an absolute joy to be around. The happiness they all felt, the pride of their parents, the laughter of their friends, and the sweet love Tara and Bryan showed towards one another the during the entire day brought so much joy to my heart. This is the type of wedding that leaves me on cloud 9 for days…
Tara & Bryan: thank you for trusting me with the most important day of your life. At the end of the day, all you have are your memories to go back to and remember all the special people that were there for you both, and I hope these memories that I captured for you help you feel exactly the same way you felt on this day. I love you both!
