Spring has arrived, and with it, the formal launch of my 2021-2022 Senior Spokesmodel Program! The gorgeous little town of Wickford, RI was the stage for our spring photoshoot and my beautiful girls took the streets by storm!

The GG Spokesmodel Program is an amazing opportunity to join a team of juniors and seniors for a year full of styled shoots, fun outings, new friendships, and memories to last a lifetime. This was the first official photoshoot, and it was better than we ever expected!

Meet the Team

Ally, Ava, Cassidy, Chriselly, Grace, Penelope, and Taryn – my 2021/2022 spokesmodel team, were on fire! The whole experience is totally one for the books. When you look at the pictures, you can feel the comradery and friendships these girls are starting to develop, and knowing that we have at least two more outings to go, it’s getting all of us excited about what’s to come!

Ava and Chriselly are part of the Class of 2021 seniors from Coventry HS and Cranston East HS respectively, and they both wanted to do something really memorable in their senior year. What can be better than hanging out with like-minded girls: fierce, talented, fun, and smart girls to share experiences with, laugh together, and getting beautiful portraits to celebrate their journey!

The rest of the team are juniors, Class of 2022, from Coventry HS, North Kingstown HS, and Fairhaven HS in MA. These girls are so excited to have one year left in their high school career and many great moments ahead of them.

Behind the Scenes

Our spring photoshoot included getting spoiled by two super talented make-up artists from Providence. Stephanie and Sabrina dolled up the already gorgeous models while getting to know each other. This was my treat for them – I really wanted them to feel extra special – like true models because that’s the whole point of being part of my team! None of them had any modeling experience (because you don’t have to have the experience to be part of the team!) and yet, they all looked like they’ve been modeling the entire time, don’t they?

The Shoot

The reason #1 why I love working with teenage girls it’s because I think I have the tools to make them feel nothing short of extraordinary. I want them to see themselves the way I see them, and nothing makes me happier than hearing the joy in their voices when they see their photos! I want them to look at themselves with love and pride, to see me as a source of confidence and care, to trust me in making them look their very best and to love every minute of the experience. This is my WHY.

I chose Wickford, RI for the spring photoshoot it’s because it’s one of those towns where it feels like time stood still. Colorful storefronts, flowery window boxes, iron benches, white picket fences, and the beautiful lighting were just perfect to highlight the beauty of these girls. It’s seriously in my top 5 favorite locations to shoot because I can get so much variety within walking distance.

I enrolled my friends and fellow photographers Ashley and Kristen to help me, and together we gave the team the experience of a lifetime. We looked (and felt!) like we were somewhere in Hollywood! People stood and stared at our process, in awe of the gorgeous sight they were presented with. I guided the posing while shooting away, and we created amazing portraits full of life, beauty, movement, sassiness, and everything in between.
