The Perfect Trifecta Session: Meghan and Peter

filed in

Some stories don’t fit into just one box, and Meghan and Peter’s day was exactly that. It wasn’t just a courthouse wedding. It wasn’t just an engagement session. It wasn’t just a maternity session. It was all three, beautifully woven together into one meaningful, emotional, joy filled experience that felt so perfectly them.

Meghan and Peter are the kind of couple that balance each other in a way that feels effortless. They’re fun loving and social, but also deeply rooted in those quiet, everyday moments. The kind of love that looks like walking the dogs together, running errands side by side, or ending the day on the couch just being in each other’s presence. It’s steady, it’s genuine, and it shows in every interaction between them.

Meghan shared with me beforehand that she wanted this day to feel just as special as their wedding day, not like they were just checking a box, and standing there with them, you could feel exactly that. This wasn’t a formality. This was the day their forever was promised.

After the ceremony, we made our way to the Old Grist Mill, a place that holds meaning for both of them, which made the entire session feel even more personal. And somehow, on just the second day of spring, we were gifted one of those unexpectedly warm, sun filled afternoons that feel like a little preview of what’s to come. The light was bright, the air was warm, and everything about it matched their energy.

And then there’s the sweetest layer to all of this… they’re expecting a baby girl this June. Their miracle baby. Watching them step into this next chapter, already so connected, already so grounded in each other, was something really special to witness. You can just feel the kind of parents they’re going to be.

What I loved most about this session is how much it reflected their story. Not rushed, not overdone, just real. A day that held so many milestones at once, yet still felt calm and present and full of meaning.

And the best part is that this is only the beginning.

I’ll be seeing them again in April 2027 at The Barn at Blackstone National, where they’ll celebrate their wedding surrounded by the people they love most, with their baby girl right there with them, part of the story from the very start.

Meghan and Peter, it was such a joy getting to meet you both and document this season of your lives. I already know your wedding day is going to be something really special, and I truly can’t wait to be there to capture it.
