In the heart of Concord, NH, amidst the rustic charm of The Barn at Bull Meadow, a love story unfolded on a June day that was meant to be shrouded in rain and clouds. But fate had other plans, blessing Jack and Katrina’s magical wedding with a stunning backdrop of blue skies and warm breeze for their special day.
Their journey began five years ago, as wide-eyed freshmen at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. Despite the challenges of distance when Jack returned home in MA for his sophomore year, their bond only grew stronger with time. Two years ago, right in front of Disney’s Magic Kingdom and their closest family, Jack knelt down and asked Katrina to be his forever. Lovers of winter days (they are both avid skiers), I captured their engagement session at the spectaular Mount Washington Hotel, which served as the preview of what a perfect wedding day would be like when two people love each other they way they do.
As both Jack’s aunt and the photographer capturing their memories, I had the privilege of witnessing their love story unfold before my lens. And what a sight it was, framed by the bridesmaids light blue dresses and the groomsmen tan suits, each detail a display of the love and dedication they shared. This was a day filled with laughter and love (and lots of happy tears!), and everyone in attendance could feel it. Love poured over with every smile, every kiss, and every glance.
Katrina’s grandfather officiated the ceremony, imparting invaluable advice to the young couple as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives. And in a heartwarming twist, Katrina and Jack’s grandmothers, adorned in smiles and petals, took on the role of flower girls, weaving a tapestry of love down the aisle; and Jack’s grandfather was proud the ring bearer.
As Katrina made her entrance to the gardens of the beautiful venue, radiant and resplendent in her 14-foot cathedral veil and breathtaking dress, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Tears of joy flowed freely, evidence of the love that surrounded them.
I have to give a big shout out to Lauren and Allison – Katrina’s Maids of Honor; to Riley -Jack’s best man; and their entire wedding party! Fun, engaging, and endlessly supportive, they ensured that every moment of Jack and Katrina’s day was nothing short of perfection. They rose to the occasion and made the day complete for their best friends.
The festivities at The Barn at Bull Meadow continued into the night, fueled by the infectious energy of an incredible DJ who kept the dance floor alive for hours on end. And what better way to bid adieu to such a magical day than with a sparkler exit, illuminating the path to their happily ever after.
To my dear Jack and Katrina: your wedding wasn’t just a celebration of your love—it was a testament to the power of love itself. A love so powerful that pushed a storm away and sparkled in the night sky. And as you begin this new chapter together, I can’t help but feel honored to have been a part of your magical day.
Love,
Auntie Gloria.

Thankyou for posting all these pictures. I’ve been Raeleen’s Aussie penpal on and off since 1979. It was a great way of being there without actually being there.
